Working with Coach Roma, has had a large impact on the way I play the game. He offers a vastly different experience due to his training in Russia. Goalies in North American simply don't work on the fundamentals the same way. He included squash balls during one of our training sessions, and puts consistent emphasis on being able to react to shots with active hands.

The type of coach that pushes you to the limits and helps you to step up when you think it’s impossible. The attitude given by Nariman is essential when you play professional hockey and compete with strong goalkeepers. To stay in shape and succeed, hockey players must work hard and correctly every day. Nariman’s techniques and exercises are an excellent guide in this process.

I had a chance to work with Nariman during my recovery from injury. He is a qualified professional that has an individual approach toward everyone. I am happy with the final result of exercising in the gym and on the ice rink with him. The recovery program created by the coach included several stages, and by the beginning of the season, I was 100% ready. Highly recommend this coach to everyone.

Edor (GTHL U13 AA) started training with coach Roma a few months ago. Almost immediately coach Roma was able to identify areas to improve for Edor. He put in a lot of thoughts to prepare different drills every session, targeting stronger legs, faster glove, and other core goalie tactics. The results and improvements are visible in Edor’s games. We especially appreciate the training intensity coach Roma brings on ice each and everyday. Play hard, practice harder - Edor not only learns skills, also the mental toughness and focus he could transfer into his own game. As goalie parents we appreciate all the help and confidence Edor received from training with coach Roma!
